Dolce & Gabbana


1. Purpose of ad is to sell mens clothing.
2. Intended audience is young to mid twenties men.
3. four men surrounding one woman, seem to be holding her against her will.
4. The figures are set so that your eye travels around the entire ad.
5. sensation
6. dominance of men
7. There is a slight hint of rape in this ad but since they are all beautiful we don't take it that way.

Dacron Slacks


1. The purpose is to advertise slacks.
2. Intended audience is men middle to late age.
3. The slacks are the main focus with a rug made to look like a woman.
4. The man's pants are the main focus in the middle of the ad witht the informaton at the bottom to balance it out.
5. emotion
6. women are the weaker sex.
7. a man standing on a woman's head is very disturbing so it draws you in.

Diesel


1. not exactly sure what they are trying to sell. Jeans maybe??
2. Intended audience is men?
3. naked man with 3 women's legs in awkward positions.
4. The bodies make interesting shapes and you wonder what the heck is going on.
5. sensation
6. We value good looking people.
7. It gets your attention but i'm not sure what they are selling.

Calvin Klein


1. The purpose is an underwear ad.
2. Intended audience is men, middle age.
3. Looks are high contrast with male model showing off skin and has a sexy look.
4. The man is very fit and good looking stating that if you wear his underwear you will be to.
5. sensation, perception
6. Cultural value is outer beauty.
7. It works as far as if it was an unattractive man nobody would study it as much. Guys want to look like the man and women want to look at him.
